Amber -- How lucky are you!? Haven't seen either but after reading about both in Prideaux's book, I'm pretty sure I would like Delafield.

Luddy or Howard?

Gee that's an unusual choice but I would pick Luddy . For being so unselfish and having some more insight into Katharine than he has ever been given credit for . And for taking care of the young Katharine .

Luddy (Howard was an interesting character though. . .)
Susan Vance or Tracy Lord?

Yes Howard was an interesting character and I have always suspected that Katharine was a bit of a surprise to him . He usually favoured ladies with different attributes - Katharine on the other hand was smart, witty and more of a match for him . I am sure she was one of the few of his girlfriends to appreciate the work that he did . It will be interesting to see whether any letters turn up in the Motion picture collection
Susan Vance - because she never took herself seriously

Luddy (Howard was an interesting character though. . .) Susan Vance or Tracy Lord? Luddy -- because he loved her and deserved her more than Howard did. Tracy Lord -- because she was beautiful, elegant, smart and very real. Golf or tennis?

You have to think that Howard stands out as an anomaly in Katharine's life . Having said that I am sure Katharine enjoyed herself .
Luddy and Katharine had a lot in common - they both came from similar social backgrounds - both had lost a sibling - Luddy's mother was a suffagrette .
But there are different types of love .
Spencer or nobody else .

Luddy- for all of the reasons that have already been said. He probably was a very gentle and lovely man, too. Tracy Lord- because I want to be her! Susie V and I are way too alike. I can make people dizzy sometimes. Oops. Tennis- although I used to take both at my friend's country club. Yay for friends with rich dads. Better at tennis, so yup, tennis for me. I can't think of a good one right now. But Merry Christmas Eve everybody! ;D

Christmas or Chanukah....(or Kwanzaa)
Just kidding guys. I just wanted to wish you all the best of everything, no matter what you celebrate (or don't).
Happy, Happy to all.

Tennis (but I have a knack for golf apparently, I just don't take it up... too expensive and time-consuming) Amanda Bonner! Intelligent, "causey", strong. Tess Harding is way too go-go-go. She was more selfish than Amanda Bonner (not that I don't still adore Tess ) To answer my own question, Tracy Lord -- Susan Vance didn't take herself too seriously but she could wear you out in a heartbeat. I would get a kick out of hanging out with her but Tracy Lord would be more like someone you could develop a meaningful friendship with. and yes Merry Christmas, Happy Hannukah, Kwanzaa... and anything else out there that one celebrates. I don't really "celebrate" Christmas... it's more or less a family gathering with gifts. But I don't file lawsuits if someone says Merry Christmas ;D
