Wow I really need to pay attention to this forum every minute of the day or I get way behind! Amber is making Milk Duds sound really gross but they're not. I swear! Yeah, they're annoying when they get stuck in your teeth but they ARE good. I mean, they do have chocolate on them... As for studying, if I had to study, I would probably be here as well. So don't feel bad ;D I haven't had a French class in so long. I miss it. Depuis quand tu l'apprends? Preferably summer although spring is good as well because it leads into summer. By the time you get to summer you've only got three months left. LDJiN -- except I love the scene where Kate lets her hair down in LiW and talks into the mirror. Ah! So gorgeous. Even at 61. And all those rings. I would love to have one of those rings (which I think they sold at auction -- one of them anyway). Cary Grant -- but I haven't seen enough of Bogie. Cary is much more handsome. Grace Kelly or Audrey Hepburn (I guess that's not fair to Richard -- he doesn't even need to answer) -- For me, Grace Kelly. But Audrey almost ties. One random story which I probably already told with my excessive rambling on these threads: I visited Grace Kelly's grave a few years back in Monte Carlo. It's in a cathedral near the palace. Anyway, I was like, 16, and really really wanted to take a picture of the tomb (I used to watch Rear Window and To Catch a Thief repeatedly). Anyway, they didn't allow photography so, because I'm such a rebel ( ) I snuck a picture in by holding my camera to my side and snapping it without flash (got to have SOME respect anyway). So, now I have a picture of "gratia patricia"'s tomb. So proud. I googled it and I only found two. Am I being morbid?

Yeah, Audrey Hepburn of course.
I love Grace Kelly, but she doesn't hold quite a bigger candle to Audrey. I think one of my life goals is to visit the gravesites of all my favorite celebrities, and dealing with the sadness of not being able to visit those like Vivien Leigh, Steve McQueen or Cary Grant.
Cats or Dogs?

I say dogs. I have neither myself, though I like both. But if I had to go for one or the other, I'd have a dog. Much more social and you can take them for walks. Cats are a bit boring.

Cary Grant. He's much more cool...the kind of guy every man wants to be.
I've never seen a AH movie so I'll have to go with Grace Kelly.
Dogs.
Catherine you've figured out how to make motion avatars. How the heck do you make 'em? I've been trying to learn forever, I even asked someone on another forum but they weren't much help.
Jay Leno or David Letterman?

I like both, honestly, but I'm always more amused when I watch Jey Leno. I choose Jay Leno.
Who's cooler...
Steve McQueen or Clint Eastwood?

I'm not really very familiar with either, but Letterman has always seemed pretty funny. I'm not sure that I've ever seen a Jay Leno show.
As for moving avatars, I assume they're done in the same way as animations are, which requires a program that has animation features. I used to use paint shop pro, but I don't have it anymore. I now have Adobe photoshop which has a similar program. I think you do it in different frames, a bit like making a flip book. And you have to save it in a gif format. Excuse me for completely butting in there! I'm sure Catherine will be able to tell you much more as she has actually made one and I have not!
Oh and I'd go with Audery Hepburn too - I loved her in Breakfast at Tiffany's and Roman Holiday.

Er...um..I haven't seen a McQueen or Eastwood movie either Is it weird that I haven't seen the movies of such classic actors like Greta Garbo, Vivien Leigh, and Eastwood, but I'm completely obsessed with the Queen of Old Hollywood, Katharine Hepburn?

Forget the Queen of Old Hollywood, Kate is the Queen of ALL Hollywood!

No no no I didn't make it! I stole it! (From a site that allows it)LoL If anyone can make some Kate motion avatars, that would be AWESOME and you should definitely post them on here. --ps have you ever tried doing a wall push-up? They're quite difficult. Letterman definitely. I LOVE his sense of humor. I used to have a mini crush on him way back when. Leno... is a boah. He seems kind of uptight. Steve McQueen is cuter. I don't really watch either actor's movies. Clint Eastwood's a great director, though...

Shaun, no it's not weird. I've only seen Ninotchka (Garbo) out of the actors you listed. Why waste your time with mediocre Hollywood? ;D

Woah, I actually take the time to focus on school for once and I miss so much! Well, they say an active forum is better than a dead one. Anyway, my answers: I'ma go with Cary-His persona is what gets to me the most. Oh, to find a man like that! No offense to 'ol Bogie-I like him better when paired with Lauren Bacall. Audrey Hepburn! Mostly because I went through the whole Audrey stage in 6th-8th grade. We had a school project in which we had to choreograph our own dance and perform it-my friend and I cheated and stole the "On How To Be Lovely" number from Funny Face, costume and all! That, and the fact that I look like her like woah. So much so that I'm known as "Little Audrey" at my school. I don't even hit 5'2! As far as Grace Kelly is concerned, I saw High Society and...UM NO. Dogs-but I'm terrified of big ones. Was attacked by a weiner dog when I was little and I have never really trusted them since. Letterman-cus he's schexy. And I love the Top 10. Clint Eastwood-because he's not only still working, but he's doing extraordinary work! Shaun-no worries about only liking the Kate department. Kate's for everybody! Some actors just collect their fan bases in exact areas. If you like McQueen you like cop shows. Or maybe I'm just assuming. Catherine! Did you just call Garbo mediocure?! Watch out, I'll defend her till the death! ;D

And here's my question:
Sunrise or Sunset? I'm a sunrise girl myself.

Wow someone's figured out the avatar thing ;D Very cool.
I KNEW I'd get in trouble for using Garbo and mediocre in the same sentence. lol Actually -- that came out wrong. She's definitely not mediocre (judging from the one movie I've seen) and obviously if Kate thought so highly of her, she must be good. Alas... Kate is number one. That's what I meant to say. Sorry to cause any heart attacks ;D
Sunrise -- but I'm rarely up that early because I'm either out too late or am on this forum too late ;D Unless of course I'm up so long that I see the sunrise! I love getting up early though. As long as I have at least 7 hours sleep (which I'm not going to get tonight!).

PS Je prefere le francais aussi, mais je voudrais apprendre l'espanol parce que je pense qu'on puisse l'utiliser plus... Tu l'as appris pour Kate? Pour la seule chose qu'elle a dit a Philadelphia Story (et Woman of the Year lol Tu me fais rire! Mais c'est quelque chose que je ferais... (is that 'would do' or 'did'... i meant would do... ? i don't know).
