Fenwick. It looks beautiful even though I've never been there.
Spears. I don't like anything about Aguilera.
Coffee or Tea?

I don't drink either. Tea?
Emeril Lagasse or Paula Deen...yeah, I'm addicted to Food Network right now.

Aguilera -- her voice is amazing. Yeah, she's trashier but she's more talented. Coffee! (I'm drinking some now ;D ) I never watch Food Network. I should though. I love to cook. And I love to eat.

Morning Glory or Alice Adams?

I haven't seen Morning Glory yet, so I'm going to go with Alice Adams. When I first saw AA I was immediately taken with Kate's warm and lovely performance; she made me want to take her in my arms.
Tracy/Hepburn or Hepburn/Grant

Whoo! Happy belated Turkey Day as well, everyone! Fenwick- because you can't pick wildflowers in NYC..or you could, but then I think you'd get arressted.. Spielberg! Coffee-although I do drink tea. Paula Deen- Nice Southern lady! Lagasse seems arrogant to me. Aguilera-She has the better voice..and my bet is Spears is headed for the train to Reno faster than you can say "The Women". Turkey- yum yum. AA- She played a seemingly simple role with so many layers so sensitively I wanted to give her a squeeze! She'd never be out of hugs with us around, Shaun. hehe. And I loved the cute sailor outfit. ;D *GASP* Okay, Shaun, your question takes the cake. ..... ....... Tracy/Hepburn! Because..oh they're just perfection on a stick! I still can't watch that scene in the apartment in WOTY without a wet rag or fan. Also, because I have decided that if I don't have a KathnSpence relationship when I grow older, then it's no dice. Well, aside from the inner demons and the drinkey. ;D Will and Grace or Friends?

*Catherine, from one "ceiling fan" of Kate's to another ;D .....

Salut Ceiling Fan! Tahili Bokumba??? Je ne me rappelle pas... Mais, oui elle a un tres joli accent ;D OU est-ce que j'ai manque l'info avec Kate quand elle a pris le francais?! Je me sens comme un mauvais <ventilateur>. ;D Shaun, be careful now ;D Tracy/Hepburn! As Amber so eloquently puts it: "I still can't watch that scene in the apartment in WOTY without a wet rag or fan." (you crack me up.) No other couple compares! It helps that it wasn't just acting.

Oh, and to answer my own question, which is rather difficult. I guess that's why I asked it... to see what other people thought. While I love Morning Glory because it's one of her first and she is SO adorable in it and I kind of see that as the real Kate back when she started, sort of obsessive about being an actor -- I have to choose Alice Adams. The vulnerability and strength combined. The story is great (that helps, too ) and Hattie McDaniels is hilarious.

Apart from anything else Alice Adams is wonderfully directed by George Stevens who initially had a lot of conflict with Katharine. Its a wonderful performance
If anybody has seen A Filmakers Journey about George Stevens they interview Katharine and she mentions a friend of hers who boasted about making money while she was sitting in a restaurant with George . After Katharine's friend had left George kissed Katharine and told her that the money was not important . I believe the friend was Leland .

Catherine: MG and AA are impossible to choose between - they're both delightful for a variety of reasons, most of which have been already stated.
Shaun: Sorry folks, but much as I love Kate & Spence (besides, it'd be disloyal not to!), I have to choose the Hepburn/Grant combo. I've seen all the Tracy-Hepburn films except Sea of Grass and enjoyed them all, especially the WOTY scene mentioned above. But Kate & Cary are just something else - their on screen chemistry is truly magical, all the more so because they didn't have an intimate off-screen relationship.
