Oh I am sure there are people there all the time and I am glad as I love seeing new pics. Yeah it would be cool to know the owner and get a tour! I cannot imagine tho that it is fun having people constantly around your home.

When i went there i wanted to get a look inside SOOOOO badly. i even asked my dad is we could knock on the door; but he said no it would be rude. i guess now that i think about it it would be kind of weird; for me and them; but i dont know; i always wanted to. im going back in the summer so maybe ill get enough courage to do it. then someone will answer the door and give me this crazy look before they slam the door in my face lmfao. i even wanted to go to bob hepburns house and knock ont he door but my dad said no too. and now its too late =[

I just got a book out of the library, Architectural Digest Holllywood and Home and it has a section Cynthia McFadden wrote and new pics of Fenwick when Kate lived there. I am thrilled to see new angles and rooms of her home.

As pretty as the "new" Fenwick looks I still prefer the way Kate had it. Rustic and comfy and full of her travels and antiques, etc. It looked lived in. The "new" Fenwick looks pretty and beautiful but too sterile and unlived in.

Yes it was so much like her.

Cynthia said she only liked white sheets and towels and guess what? Me too! And I did not even know that about Kate.

Also she used things till they wore out and then even would still keep them and not buy new.

She also had flowers in every room. I know everyone who adores Kate knows that so at the store today and bought some just to put around my house to remember her by.

She never had photos of herself. She wanted to forget she was an actress when she was at home relaxing. She had photos of loved ones in her bathroom! ha! I would love to see a pic of that!

in Kate Remembered- Berg said she kept a picture of her character Trigger from Spitfire i think outside her room to remind her what a mistake it was to play that part. i love it hahah.

HAHA. Yeah, she did have photos of her family in the first-floor john of the Turtle Bay house. Because when you gotta go, you want your family staring back at you... such a silly goose.

Also, I ADORE that old coat in OGP. It's so her's. And it should have been a rag long before that movie was made. Love.

And I also say the F-bomb to THE ROOTS every Memorial Day. It's a tradition. That gardening tale is GOLD. I don't know why I just thought of this, but just throwing that out there...
