Two of those Fenwick photos look like they were taken after Mr. Schaime rennovated.

Yes, they were taken after the house was renovated by Mr. Sciame. Dead giveaways are the small patio with four columns in the center of the back of the house (the back of the house faces Long Island Sound) as shown in two of the photos. Plus the porch on the right side of the house is also an addition. There were a number of other architectural changes both inside and outside. BUT -- the house is still beautiful. The Hepburns built on the primest piece of real estate in an area of prime real estate. Views are spectacular as is the setting for the house.

Wow the house looks wonderful. I often wonder what Kate would of thought. Somehow I don't think it's her style, outside and in but I think she would be happy that it is giving another family such happiness.
Where did you find that photo?

Yes a famous NY architect bought Fenwick. Mr. Schaime, he was a friend of Kates. He was going to sell after renovating but decided to keep it. I sure understand why!

It's a wonderful house. I sure would like to see what Mr. Schaime has done with the inside. Is the trim blue or are those shadows on the house?

You can see what he did on the inside in Oct. issue of Town and Country a yr. back.
You can probably get a back issue at a library.
It really is a diff. house inside. The only thing I recognized was the LR fireplace. Everything else is like a beachhouse, all white and roomy.
Walls were knocked down, rooms changed, etc.
I guess some Hepburn relatives came by a few yrs. ago and just loved it.
Best of all he raised the house so no more flooding.
