Anyone else notice the upright chair Kate had to sit on? You can't sit in these period dresses because of the corsetts and how they're ribbed etc... looks painful lol Jess

Pretty dresses (Summertime) Is this one of the greatest staircase entrances ever? I always thought this dress was black, but after several viewings, it's clearly navy blue to match his suit! Either way, it's a stunner! I adore this white dress, it's so I Love Lucy. Someone mentioned that Kate wears alot of white, blue and red.. are we counting teatowels? I just adore this blue skirt, lovely and bright for the technicolour camera. Couldn't get a better one than this but I loved this peachy coloured dress.. Jess

I'd have to say Kate looks like Lucy in that white dress too! Never really thought of it that way. And her hair definitely looks like that too with the bow. Cute! ;D I would killl to have all those skirts and dresses! I wish those were still in fashion haha! It'd be fun to walk around like that you know? I totally would love to just have them anyway to play dress up now and then haha

Oh I know exactly what you mean. There is a shop close to home that sells 1950s type dresses (very expensive) and I've got a red and white polkadot one (EXTERME I Love Lucy haha) and a black one which is similar to the "navy blue but looks black" dress Kate wears in the dancing / making out session montage in Summertime. But mine came with a cute little bellero (like a tiny jacket) which makes it look very June Allyson circa 1940s lol
I think my dresses are a brand called "Stop Starring" which I think is a U.S or U.K brand. You should look it up, the dream may not be so far away!
Jess
P.S. I didn't even notice the I Love Lucy hair! Kate was probably channeling Lucy to get through wearing those horrid 'skirts' ;D!
