Charliesgirl7681, sooo didn't see your last post lol (just incase I haven't written enough replies to myself, here goes another one) Cary and Kate were absolute magic together. No doubt! And don't worry, we don't hate but I've got to say it's a rarity to find a Kate fan who isn't a Kate/Spence loverrr! I'm glad you liked Desk Set though! Have you seen all of their films? I haven't.. there's a bunch I haven't seen - stupid industry not releasing everything on DVD for us to enjoy! One day.. T E A M D E S K S E T Jess

Lol I haven't seen all of them yet. I have to see Sea of Grass and GWCTD THEN I will have seen all of theirs. I'm putting off GWCTD because I know I will be depressed after.
I ended up rewatching Desk Set the night before Chirstmas and I LOVE that movie. It is so damn cute! The scene on the roof is just too cute and a drunk Kate was adorable. Now I want to go rewatch it again.

Totally understandable about GWCTD. You'll have to make sure to write a blurb about it when you've seen it!
I also haven't seen Sea of Grass. I downloaded it one day (I ooonly download things that cannot be purchased on DVD, calm down peeps) and serves me right because it downloaded in another language lol so I just wiped it from my computer, silly to keep such a big file of something I cannot understand without subtitles to help lol although I watched some of it, the costumes were lovely.
Yeah Desk Set is awesome. Total cuteness! I think I might watch it on the weekend. I also love the roof scene - adorable! I like the end too where he pulls the hairpin out of her hair. There's something really cute about that lol

This was my first Hepburn/Tracy film and it got me hooked! I like how in every movie you can tell they were in a different part of their relationship...this one was really fun but there was also a deep, deep, deep familiarity and syncness (did i just make up a word?) that I really felt.

Picked up the Tracy & Hepburn Definitive Collection set recently, and this was the first one I watched. (To date, I'd only seen Guess Who's Coming To Dinner and that was a long time ago.) Very delightful comedy. Very nice to see Joan Blondell still making films after the pre-code era, and Kate and Spence were both quite delightful.
