Hi I'm brand new to the group and I'm so thrilled to be a part of such a wonderful board that adores Kate I’m fairly young at 22 years old but, I have looked up to Kate for a long time…she is such a classy lady and a magnificent actress! I have a youtube account that has for a while now been home to my projects dedicated to one of my favorite shows a British comedy called “To the Manor Born”. I started making movies following a college multimedia/computer course a few semesters ago and have loved it ever since! A few weeks ago I finished up watching “Woman of the Year” for what must be the thousandth time…I heard a piece of music and thought to myself wow…I could make a great Kate and Spence video with this lol Well I did and then I started to make more and more Kate and Kate/Spence videos they just kept pouring out..and needed a place to share them so I changed my youtube site and now I’m posting them there as well Anyway…to make a long story short I would be thrilled to share them with you…I don’t know if you have seen them already or not…I’m hopefully going to be posting more…and possibly making more as well if I can find more songs…(I’m open to suggestions). My Kate video to Tina Turner’s “Simply the Best” which she was and still is! www.youtube.com/watch?v=T2MB4Vi66wY&feature=channel_pageMy Kate and Spencer video to “Heaven” by Do…Kate looks back at their relationship from “Guess who’s coming to Dinner” to “Woman of the Year”. www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ZcG7JkeFPQ&feature=channel_pageThanks again for allowing me to be a part of this great Kate community!

The many phases of Kate fandom -- great post, Judy! Definite pattern which we've discussed many times. You find her as a young woman and somehow your kid brain recognizes that a woman of substance resides in the wonderful performer who makes you laugh, cry, and wish you knew on a personal level. Kate was my touchstone whenever I made a career or life choice. I looked at the way that she led her life and it gave me the impetus to adopt a lot of her views for my own. It's been 50 years since I found her and she's still the woman who provides me with a design for living. I just hope I can age as gracefully publicly and privately as she did. Sherry Yep. Perhaps we lay too big a responsibility at her feet, but I feel just as you do, Sherry (big surprise). And she's still providing us with that design for living, which in my book makes her legacy far exceed her movie stardom.

I'll have you know Katie and I are alternatively crying and cracking up and crying again and----oh, now the moment has passed. But for a few minutes we had some legitimate emotions going on there. In our collective relationship [Is that what you would call it? It's the best word I've got at the moment.] with Kate we're in Phase III and V simultaneously. Now didn't that just make us feel like crudmuffins? We miss her. Phase V's a killer....but then you get to keep her alive by talking endlessly about her with friends who feel as you do....I was thinking. In a month it'll be six years. Seems so long ago, yet also like only yesterday.

Oh, I love that video! It's so cute. I love the begining especially when Kath's on her trusty bike. It's so 80's!

To me it says everything. Am nervous - be kind No need for you to be nervous and we will definitely be kind. :-) Both videos are very good. I esp. like the new one because of the sentiment of the song and the photos that express it -- Kate with Anthony Harvey, Peter O'Toole, Robert Helpmann - all men who professed their love for her and the happiness they derived from having known her professionally and personally. The photos with Spencer Tracy -- well, of course. Great work. Nice of you to share your talent with all of us -- For Good. Sherry

I love the new one dreamer! I love the old one too. It sounds like a song from a musical. Is it? It sounds very theatre like. I like it! Well done Jess
