I love that dinner. I love that youtube video. I basically love everything about it. But wait, Shaun... BAHAHAHAHAHAHA DID YOU JUST SAY MACK? Spencer was sitting in the row behind Kate, a couple of seats to her right, so she could have turned around so they could gab. Or mack, whatever. yes you did. OH MY BEE POLLEN GEE. I'm certain they wouldn't mack it in front of everybody there. Macking means...making out. Boy howdy I would have paid them 100 bucks to see that. Lena Horne should have dared them. It is cute how they ended up near each other, though. Awwwww. I cannot tell you how many times I have daydreamed about this. Him throwing poatatos at her. Good times.

Macking? Never heard that one before. Throwing potatoes? Amber you kill me!
EDIT: It's a great clip by the way. I love that sort of stuff.

I believe the first time I heard the phrase "mack it" was from JACK BENNY (of all people) on a Lux broadcast! And do you know why he said it? Well, direct quote, "I never go to the movies with you and Barbara (Missy) anymore Bob (Taylor) because you both end up macking it when I want to watch the thing!" <--- my jaw dropped.
I think the flicking of the potatoes would have warranted the best food fight in the history of filmed food fights. It would be something that Spence would do, though. And she'd get all mad at him and flick her steak. I mean, for Kath's public eating phobia (getting filmed eating, to top it off) it would have been amusing.

I love the guy that scarfed the bread and then decided it was gross awful. He motioned to spit it out in his hand, but thought otherwise and just chewed with a grimace. He was sitting a few seats down from Kath. I also love the waiter that walked in front of the camera and then realized he was being filmed and scooted off really fast. Oh MGM, how I love your filmed self-absorbedness.

The man with the bread is none other than Buster Keaton. One of these days I just MIGHT be able to name all the actors showcased in that dinner clip. I still have WAYS to go though, only having identified 10-12 of its stars.

Oh yah you're right that was Buster Keaton! Haha he really is a hoot. I couldn't place the name...and didn't really feel like looking him up. Poor Buster.

Ha I didn't know 'mack' dated back that far! I heard it on some tv show.
