Thank you for the pictures, evelien! Since we know these dresses from in black and white movies, seeing them in colour is in a way like seeing them for the first time. I'd go if I wasn't so far away

FYI. The first picture is not from the exhibition. It is from the museum in the lobby of the KHCAC in Old Saybrook. All the others are from the Kent State exhibit, though.

Wow, thank you so much for posting! How long is this exhibit on?
It's funny seeing them in colour...in a million years I would never have pictured the LDJIN dress as lavender.

You're totally right. Sorry, had placed it in the wrong folder on my computer. Wow, I'm really impressed that you noticed that! You're obviously a really big fan!

Love the Little Minister dress! I know most of them but what is the little black number from? Stage Door? It looks so familiar.

Yeah, kind of a fan By the way, the thing you can't see in the photo from the KHCAC is hanging on the wall to the left - well, you can see the tip of it. It's her walking stick from The Corn is Green.

Evelien, Judy knows EVERYTHING Kate. She is our go-to gal.
I cannot believe how awesome this looks. If anyone goes can they please take some video footage if you're allowed to!? These are the times when I wish I were rich and could hop on a plane to the States, to see things like this. Looks a-mazing!

I only just realised you listed video links. The one from the University is awesome.
It's funny they mention how tiny she was because I was thinking the same thing about the mannequins thinking they would surely be huge to fit her clothes!
Wow on exhibition for a year, surely some of you American folk will go to see this?! I am so excited for whoever gets to go!

THIRTIETH harvard college reunion going on right now ... i'm not there but honestly. 30 years? it just doesn't compute and some things are are just beginning. i guess because i keep moving cities i feel like there are new beginnings all the time.. what's never changed, however, is the life and style guide hepburn has been. um ... what was the question? ah right ... longevity has MANY benefits i guess ... facts and books and memories accumulate.
