p.p.s. i have visited this campus in the past -- for entirely different historical reasons. kent state national guard shootings, y'all. the 1960s (i was a child but i remember the event) -- they were a time. there is a moving monument and area of the campus where the shootings occurred. i look forward to a visit for this much more celebratory reason -- the style and wonder of kate-ness.

I want to see this so bad.  I would love seeing her costumes in color I would probably cry seeing them in person haha. I spy the Stage Door dress in the background! OMG I am so sad it's far away. Since it is going on for a year I am seriously considering going. *keeping fingers crossed* |

Does anyone know if this is still touring? I'm going to NY in Aug and hoping it will be there, or somewhere close.

I think it will be in New York from October 16, 2012 until January 2013 at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. I read this in the ad for the new book (Rebel Chic) and I presume it's the same exhibition. If only it could come to Europe...  |

I'm not sure what exhibit you are referring to that was in Los Angeles, charliesgirl, but for the record, THIS one - the one with the costumes from Kent State - has only been in Kent, OH, and in Ocala, FL so far. It will be at Lincoln Center in NYC starting in October of this year. Maybe there was something ELSE Kate-related in L.A. But the costumes from her estate that belong to Kent State Univ, have only been shown in Ohio and at the Appleton Museum at the College of Central Florida. Next stop: New York City. Ugh! Of course it is. lol It came to LA 2 weeks after I left. |

I called Kent State because I was going to drive over on a long weekend last year but was told the exhibit was in Los Angels.
