Hi Kate fans far and wide! Okay so I found this awesome new product at my local craft store and I can iron on a transfer simply by printing it off my computer onto this special paper and I can't wait to make my very own 'KH t-shirt'!! Now, the special paper wasn't cheap so I must decide carefully and it's already stressing me out!! There are so many great pictures. Can you guys give me some ideas as to which Kate picture you think would look really cool on a t-shirt? It's awesome, cause I'll buy just plain cotton t-shirts that actually fit nice, so it won't be one of those over-sized merchandise t-shirts they sell at theatre and concert shows! It's only for colour t-shirts though, NOT WHITE, so I can't use a white t-shirt, so also colour selection of the actual t-shirt if anyone has any bright ideas?! I've gone totally blank and when I go through my computer of Kate photos I'm totally overwhelmed! So if anyone recalls a really clear good photo that you think would look awesome on a shirt, post it here and when I've made it I'll take a picture and show everyone Jess

This sounds like real fun ;D A white T-shirt would have been soooo much easier. Here goes - just not sure if the first are legal (printing a piece of art) hmmm The print got to large in the brown one but I for my self would like the T-shirt matching the colors in the print you choose. And an Australian T-shirt And then of course the print has to be clear and large enough. Right?!

WOW!!!!! What program do you have that does that?!?! That was awesome dreamer!!!!
Thanks for the suggestions, they are all so good now I'm really in a pickle! I love the arty ones but hmm copyright? I think it's copyright to do any of it isnt it!?
I'll let you know how it goes!

copyright concerns might be involved with any of these images if the intent is to SELL the tshirts. but for your own use ... the rules are less stringent. if you're printing something out to put on your wall or adorn your own computer wallpaper or adorn your clothes .. that's one thing. its the commercial use of the image (or audio or .. whatever) that *usually* generates questions about copyright protections.

I make these shirts all the time and have been meaning to make one of kate for a while now. I am so picky and I have a hard time choosing pics but I would say choose one that has a white background if you are doing a white shirt.

I like Dreamer's idea of matching the colors in the photograph (if you pick a colorized one, that is) with the shirt.
(I also love that Dreamer pick'd that photo of Kate holding the koala as if it were Simba and she were Rafiki from The Lion King. I think she is serenading that marsupial to "The Circle of Life.")
If you want my .02, go with Red and White---her favorites. She did have a proclivity for white t's, as well... my guess is that you would wear a bra with one, though. Ughhhh, Kate.

I would too have preferred white and with the first art image - but as Jess wrote - no white T-shirts - they have to be colored Which means you will need a good print (no low quality) Jess - otherwise the color of the T-shirt will shine through.

Wow thanks all for your input! It's so hard to choose! I do love that Koala one (AKA "Circle of Life") soooo cute.
News people, I CAN now choose a design for a white t-shirt! Although the 'transfer paper' is very small so unfortunately I can't have a huge design although they are gawgeous!
The size of the paper is only like 4x6 (half of half of an A4 size).. I made one so far but I can't find my camera anywhere! When I find it I'll show you what kind of size I'm workin' with!

Oh my, this is definitely a GREAT idea. I don't have any Kate t-shirt, unfortunately... but after reading your posts, I guess I'll steal your idea I love the fact that the t-shirt are in color. Here printers just want to work either on black or white t-shirts. Boring, huh? And -dreamer- your ideas for the pics are superb! I'd use even some from Sylvia Scarlett, tho XD
