This is quite off the wall but since we are in different countries how about everybody posting once about what they are doing when they post .
I am getting ready for work - it is 7.00 - I am a researcher and I currently work for a development agency in Sydney that helps people with cataract blindness .
I am listening to a Tori Amos CD- Strange Little Girl - a song about Rattlesnakes - now sure what it means " A girl needs .. all those rattlesnakes"

It started to snow and sleet a bit here so school ended early--at one o'clock, which was a big relief.
Right now it's 4:44 p.m. I've just finished doing some work for my English class; it is required that all senior English students do a project called quest. It's a rather big event at my school...all the underclassmen come and gawk at our projects. I'm definitely including Kate on mine.

It's 2:20 right now and I'm at a friends house. I'm waiting until 5:00 for my English class. Slow today.

It's 10:54 here -- I came online to search for an apartment in Kansas City. A friend called me today and needs a roommate. So what do I do? I come to the Kate forum. Oh yeah, totally focused am I. I'm listening to "Ne me quitte pas" (Edith Piaf)... and at the same time trying to come up with a label design for my sister's pastry company... I've been working on it for the past week. I'm such a procrastinator.

Okay, so now it's 12:15...I have literally been putzing around on the Internet for about four hours now..doing what? Beats me. I can go into school late tomorrow because I have two free periods in the morning...Sleep-is wonderful. I'm listening to...Lux Radio Theatre:To Have and Have Not 1946 because I love Bogie and Betty like they're my aunt and uncle. Hehe-yup I have been that bored that I've gone and drawn up my own "classic family tree." I've been choreographing my number for dance to "Just One of Those Things" by Cole Porter. And I'm eating a grapefruit. I'm really tired now. zzzzzzzzzzzzz

Oh yeah, it's 11:43 and I'm listening to "Across the Universe" (Fiona Apple's). Found a couple cool apartments but for those prices I might as well move back to NY. Okay, yeah maybe it's not the same -- $700 avg. for a 2 bedroom (but of course the ones I like are in the $1000 range) in metro KC. In NY that would be like, $3000. So worth it though.

It's just gone 7am and I'm getting ready for school (I'm a teacher). I went out last night to the pub to meet my best friend, who has moved away to England, but is back for a couple of days. And I've got a bit of a hangover.

Drink lots of water -- best cure. Helps if you do it before hand ;D So, it's 2:12am. I sat at my drafting table for an hour and tried to come up with this logo thing. I'm completely stuck. I think I need to down a bottle of wine or something for inspiration. So, I came to the computer to see if my "Confessions of Madonna" UK interview was done downloading (it was) so I've been watching this interview for the past half hour. It's funny -- the interviewer keeps asking Madonna these ridiculous things and she keeps giving him these faces. At one point she says he's pigeon-holing her (he called her less ambitious and uncompromising). But you're not interested in that so I'll shut up now ;D I need to go to bed, actually. But, I HAVE to get this thing done. Good thing I'm watching Madonna instead.

Thanks Catherine. Not to worry, I have plenty of experience in dealing with hangovers! I forgot all about it by the time my form class arrived anyway. What logo are you working on?
I just got in from work (thank goodness it's Friday!) and I'm about to go and tidy up before I start watching one of the DVD's from the Tracy & Hepburn boxed set that arrived yesterday. Is it too much to watch them all in one night?

The Tracy/Hepburn set! I'm so looking forward to getting that one. I put it on my xmas list for my dad. It's 1:02PM, I'm on my break and not hungry so I came online! Gem, I'm working on a logo for my sister's pastry business -- it's called Sweet Bistro. She bakes cookies, cakes, etc. She takes internet and phone orders and puts them in a box to deliver them. She wants a label to put on the box which is what I'm doing. It's supposed to be a wintery bistro scene but it's driving me nuts because I have to have details but she wants it simplified so I'm trying to compromise.

It's 00:50 and I've just been writing Christmas cards. I haven't had a chance to go online all day, so thought I'd check out this forum before going to bed. Fridays are the official weekend here, but I had to work today in my capacity as a professional English language examiner. And right now, I'm yawning...... Byeee

Mmkay, so now it's 12:25! What a busy day today ..er yesterday...was! I went to school, worked on my dumb ol' dhance project, went to the post office to pick up my passport (I'm going to Greece in April!) and got ready to go out to dinnah with my cousins and see "It's A Wonderful Life" on the stage at a local theatre. Wonderful production-the cast and crew really cared about the film so they made the performance really special. I felt bad, though...an extra was leaving the stage and she tripped and fell smack dab on her face-and stayed there-we thought she had died-it was scary, but now it's kinda funny (she joked about it) ..if that sounds mean. I think I'll have some hot chocolate now.

Ooooh an English language examiner. Now I feel under pressure to speak(type) properly. ;D It's 1:37AM, just finishing up the logo thing (finally). Got back from my niece's 8th birthday party a few hours ago -- with a bunch of other 7- and 8-year-olds. Crazy night but so fun. I love just observing kids. They have the amazing capability of being totally honest in all situations. So, now I must go back to sketching. Hot chocolate -- pronouncing as shock-late -- does sound good. So does coffee ice cream. Which I HAVE! But no, I must resist temptation.
