It's coming out September 12. Meg Ryan, Debra Messing, Candice Bergen, Eva Mendes...bunch of famous people. Looks okay but nothing will top the original of course, with Rosalind Russell and Joan Crawford. I get pissed when they remake movies like this but whatever. The movie looks nothing like the old one. I would be PISSED if they remade The Philadelphia Story or Bringing Up Baby!

I think I'd like it if it was more like the original. We'll just have to wait and see when it comes out. The trailer looks nothing at all like the original film, but I don't know.

Can you judge a movie by the trailer (if so, don't go and see Australia, it looks baaad - but then I am NOT a big fan of Nicole Kidman)?

I wasn't impressed by the trailer to The Women at all. Fabulous actresses but the dialogue wasn't exactly ... crackling! Not like the original. How can you replace Ros Russell, Marjorie Maine etc. They just don't make em like that any more!!

There are very few if not nearly none of the remakes that match up to the original in any way at all ! I also have a problem with all these tv shows that seem to morph into movies !
