After Katharine died there were a lot of really cool stories on the Bryn Mawr board .
My favourite story was from a very old lady - she was 8 years of age in 1928 and her mother took her to the Bryn Mawr end of year festivities . She loved it all and she especially remembered the young girl curled up inside the Moon in the play , Woman of the Moone .
It was not until many years later that she realized that she had seen one of Katharine Hepburn's early performances . She said she remembered it so well almost 80 years later

I remember reading that story somewhere...that lady is probably one of the very few (perhaps the only) people alive who saw Kate perform in her Bryn Mawr days. This wasn't a message board was it? Because I can't see some 80+ year old woman using the internet
