OK -- don't get all excited or anything. I just had to share this. In the Sexiest Man Alive issue (which Matthew McConaughey graces the cover -- although they should just make it the Brad Pitt issue every year instead). Anyway, in this they show all the previous covers and on one of them, there is Kate, in the corner! From 1988. I just had to share that. ;D

I have the tribute issue they did back in '03 after she died. I sort of "borrowed" it from my school's library But instead of putting Kate on the cover they put Reese Witherspoon. What the hell is up with that? Kate is waaaaay more deserving of being on the cover than RW!

Yeah, Shaun. I like Reese Witherspoon, but that was the most inane choice for the cover the week Hepburn died. I feel certain that Withrspoon's pr firm was working overtime and, as often happens, threatened to pull their client from the magazine if she didn't get a cover. So there she is big as day, with Katharine Hepburn in the corner.
Absurd.

Speaking of Reese Witherspoon, has anyone seen 'Walk the Line' yet? I hear that she and Phoenix are very good as Johnny Cash and June Carter...I want to see it just for the music.

I just thought I'd mention it. I was upset. Speaking of Reese Witherspoon, has anyone seen 'Walk the Line' yet? I hear that she and Phoenix are very good as Johnny Cash and June Carter...I want to see it just for the music. I think Johnny would've been proud. I haven't seen it, though. ;D
