I've noticed that there are a lot of members here who haven't made a single post. I was wondering if you visit often and read the forum but just decline to reply. If so, drop us a line. I'm sure you all have something interesting to share about your Kate obsession ;D

Catherine, your post made me laugh so hard. I bet you have a wicked sense of humor...like Kate. And that's a compliment of the highest degree!

Richard, I never noticed the link to your live journal. I'll have to read your reviews when I have more time..

Richard, I never noticed the link to your live journal. I'll have to read your reviews when I have more time.. My reviews suck. Please don't read them. I don't think they make much sense, either. And my grammer is lacking. But I like writing movie reviews. It's a hobby that I enjoy doing. I like to pretend I'm smart by using words I've never used before. You can go ahead and read them. I was kidding. Back on topic... I really don't know why this forum doesn't have a lot of active members. I mean, this is Katharine Hepburn we're discussing. Take for instance Audrey Hepburn, an amazing and talented actress, of course, and even at www.audrey1.com, that forum is HUGE. I hope one day this place gets to be like that. I'm disappointed, needless to say. No worries, though. I'm content with our small community we have here.

I think it's quite nice to have a "small community". I mean look at something like imdb which has a huge membership - you get lots of inane comments as well as never ending oh-so-repetetive topics, not to mention those infamous trolls. Besides, some people prefer to browse, enjoy and learn before contributing - it seems some of our new members are pretty young and they might not yet know an awful lot about the great Kate. And then there's those like myself who contribute in spurts and then suddenly find the real world overtakes them and they've no time to write, or else have nothing in particular to add to what's been said already. Rest assured though, I do find time to check this board every day , even if I have to succomb to the pressures of a non-Kate life the rest of the time

I agree with Karina. The forums with a huge amount of members are annoying. Your post gets lost five pages down just five minutes after it's posted. I appreciate having a small board. But bear in mind it's pretty new... I think. When I first started posting back in, I think, April... Judy and Smith and maybe a couple others were the only ones posting and even then it wasn't practically every day like it is now. As for a non-Kate world, I prefer to pretend that doesn't exist ;D But whenever I am succumbing to the sometimes overwhelming pressures of reality, I find this board a nice getaway.

There are a lot of people who are reading the posts as well that are not members - they appear as guests .
It would be great if they became members .

I want members, most of them anyway, to read what I write. I had that same problem when I tried to post at the audrey1 website. I had this feeing. I just felt ignored. Small communities are good. Huge forums are usually a mess and full of spam. I just want it to grow a little, but not too much.
