Oh yes I loooooooooooove Undercurrent, even though I had it all figured out the minute I saw Robert Mitchum...really they should have gotten an unknown for that role. You know they're not gonna cast a big star to play the small part of the housekeeper or whatever he was. But I didn't watch this flick because of Robert Mitchum...that's right it's Kate that I loved in this film! She was so vulnerable and "puuurdddy"( ;D ) and adorable that I wanted to give her a great big hug.

Tee-hee I guess it's an epidemic because I wanted to squeeze her too. Bet she gave good hugs. ;D

We've got that in the States except it has both Kate and Spencer on the cover. And Alice Adams isn't included. Instead it has a Spencer Tracy documentary hosted by Kate.

I know what box set I'd die for.
Katharine Hepburn - Box Office Poison: The RKO Years: - A Bill Of Divorcement - Christopher Strong - Morning Glory - The Little Minister - Spitfire - Break Of Hearts - Sylvia Scarlett - Mary of Scotland - A Woman Rebels - Quality Street
excluding the hits at RKO - Little Women, Alice Adams, Stage Door & Bringing Up Baby (granted, was a flop at the time, but is considered a classic now) - all these are easily available on dvd anyway, the others arent so much. So thats why I'd want them as a box set.
I also think a Hepburn/Tracy volume two would be great. with, obviously: - Keeper Of The Flame - Without Love - Sea Of Grass
State Of The Union, Desk Set, and Guess Who's Coming To Dinner are also easy to come by on DVD.
There could also be one with Dragonseed, Undercurrent, Song Of Love. Dunno what the theme is here.
But they should do a whole bunch of them.
OR...just, The Katharine Hepburn Collection. All of the feature films, in volumes, chronologically. Although that would be a pain in the ass for us. Coz we'd be doubling up on so many (and you know we would). But it would be awesome to have.

It's completely idiotic that there isn't a Katharine Hepburn set. There's Audrey, two volumes of Bette, Joan Crawford, dozens of John Wayne, Jimmy Stewart, Ronald Reagan, Doris Day, James Dean, Shirley Temple, Laurel and Hardy, Garbo, Dietrich, Carole Lombard, Mae West, Hitchcock and even Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Aniston, Drew Barrymore, and George Clooney for gods sake! The Tracy Hepburn set was nice but each deserve their own individuals!!
I'd kill to have Undercurrent on DVD. I imagine it would have an awesome cover.

...and how many of those people are even half as good as Kate?
Many of them (A. Hepburn, Reagan, Doris Day, Shirley Temple, Dietrich, Lombard, and all of the modern ones) are awful in fact!

Wow, cool, thanks for posting this, definitely something to consider ;D... haven't seen three of the five movies yet so it'd even be kind of worth it, hm.
