Katharine Hepburn - Screen Goddess boxset is coming out in UK on 3rd October. Not sure if it's already available in USA? It's a compilation including: State of the Union / Guess Who's Coming to Dinner / Suddenly Last Summer / Bringing Up Baby / Rooster Cogburn / Holiday
But I just hope they've spelt her name correctly & that the "e" on the advertisement is only a typo....

[glow=red,2,300]Classic Comedies Collection [/glow] Special collector's set includes "Dinner at Eight," "Libeled Lady," "Stage Door," "Bringing Up Baby," "The Philadelphia Story," and "To Be or Not to Be." released in dvd too...
""Out of topic for Bette's fans Amber, etc : The Bette Davis Collection released in august too.""

I record the excerp where they talk about Kate and Spence, their movies together ... the end is great, I watched it again and again : when Mike is in the room of Pat (Pat and Mike) in the end of the movie and if I remember well she said : "I need someone look after me -what about me, he answer -yes - together we ... I forgot the end
I think we see too quickly Kate smoking at a MGN dinner.

wow, you're turning into me with the random wooage. Although, that woo wasn't all that random. So, this post really isn't of any relevance other than the fact that it's 1:30 AM and I can't sleep. But anyway, I second your woo for the BOH goodness. I just totalled my mom's car, btw. So I probably can't buy it any time soon. which sucks. i'm not hurt.....hey, at least the power's back on. and I'm NOT a bad driver, it was the other fella's fault okies?!?! yeah, none of you believe me. and you've probably stopped reading, so i'ma go now. bye.
Kate Hepburn is the greatest love of my life. so that's relevant. woooooo!!!

I put a handsome ding in one of my parent's cars. This was around March maybe and ever since I've been insisting that it was the other guy's fault. I don't think anyone ever believed me so I've given up ever trying to convince them. Yeah and Hepburn's alright............

That's region 2. Would love to have some of those titles released in the States.

Cheap - not bad. Got Mary of Scotland and Sylvia Scarlett there - each 14 €. Maybe I should have waited - would have had 3 extras for gifts for the same price

Yeah, I have Bringing Up Baby, The African Queen and The Iron Petticoat. So I would only be buying it for Mary Of Scotland and Sylvia Scarlett. I might just (eventually lol I have to convince someone to let me borrow their credit card) buy those and others off this site individually.
I just thought I would share.
What a shame Shaun about the region two issue. My dvd player will play pretty much any region which is great.
