Well in the catalogue they also have some shots by some Bachrach guy and what strikes me is how natural Katharine looks in the photographs Houene took - particular in the grass shots . And Katharine is probably the only A- list star in Hollywood who could get away with photographs of her in a simple T-shirt and probably nothing else underneath. There were tons of Bachrach shots at the auction. In the viewing gallery many of the b/w shots by him and others were hung on the wall. The MARY OF SCOTLAND ones in particular were stunning. But Huene took some absolutely gorgeous shots of her as well, as this one attests. Her face was made for the camera - moving and still. JS

GAH how I want that! Actually, I don't remember the music in MG all that much. I remember she was cute and squeaky voiced and she passed out and Adolphe Menjou groped her. And I can't even watch it and tell you because of said problemo with mi vcr. wtf now I'm spanish.
OMG guys, I found the music sheets/packet for "Farewell Amanda" on ebay!! But am too lazy to go and paste a link. Now all I gotta do is learn to play the piano and I'm golden! WOO!!

I like to look for the Buy it Now items on ebay and if those are too high then I'll look at the auctions. Those auctions make me uneasy; some slick willy always jumps in there at the end and snatches it out from under you.

That's why you wait and watch the last minutes of the auction and outbid the person who outbids you. By the way, was it a brand new and sealed DVD? Getting that movie at that price and condition is a real bargain.

OMG Catherine! ahahahahahahahaha. ;D
Waytago Shaun! DVD opened or not, that's still wicked cool. I haven't bought a Kath movie in a while. Saw The Glass Menagerie, which we just had fun making fun of Kath's Southern/Trigger Hicks accent. Only a few more left. TCBL or Love Among The Ruins, anyone?

Love Among the Ruins was cute. . . . I think the next movie I'm going to get is Mary of Scotland. I went everywhere to see if I could find it and then realized it's only available in the John Ford Collection lol So it will definitely be an online purchase.
