I was in this used bookstore in my city's downtown (which has a ton of Kate books that I snagged), and I saw Kate's cover in their stack of old LIFE magazines. I got extremely excited, grabbed the magazine, and ran to the register to pay when I turned over the magazine to find that it cost $50! I was completely shocked because the ones that I purchased in the past were only about $5, and I wasn't expecting that... They also had the Garbo issue for something like $65. So anyway, I didn't buy it obviously, and was quite disappointed. But I did manage to get about 6 different books, including the People Magazine's tribute. Ah well... maybe they'll have a sale someday

Nice,
I'm not a huge collector. I've got Charlie and Rose from African Queen in stuffed bear form. (They're very cute. Charlie has the hat and everything.) I have a framed photo of KH in WOTY. Also, I have some stuff from On Golden Pond that a guy I know who worked on it sent me. It includes set designs, magazines from the time, call sheets, copies of telegrams the man sent to Fonda and Hepburn when they won Oscars, and a few other things. Best of all is a script with prop cues and deleted scenes.
