I was watching Bringing Up Baby a few weeks ago with my brother when all of a sudden he said "if they were to make a Superman movie back then, there's your Lois and Clark right there." I had never thought about that but the more I do the more I can visualize it. Kate could have definitely pulled off the head-strong reporter and Christopher Reeve even admitted to using Grant's performance in the movie as his inspiration for Kent. What does everyone here think?

I remember hearing somewhere that Cary Grant's character in Bringing Up Baby was at one point Christopher Reeve's inspiration for the development of his character Clark Kent. It took me awhile to figure that out, but now that I know it's actually pretty cool.
I also heard that Kate Bosworth (who's portraying Lois Lane in the new movie Superman Returns) watched a lot of Katharine Hepburn films as her inspiration for the character.
