Are there any good photographs of Kate's brothers Dick and Bob? I've seen a few from their childhood and early teens, but has anyone found any from when they were middle-aged adults.

Unfortunately the quality isn't very good, but here is a photo of Kate and Dick from the 1950s.

Thanks Webmaster.
Catherine, it's from a scene in a old horror movie called Black Christmas from 1974. Now that I think about it, it does have a strong resemblance to the poster of The Grudge... perhaps that's where they got it from.

Yeah, maybe. That's funny.
Didn't you used to live in Kentucky?

Who me?
No. I've never, at any time, lived in Kentucky.

I have a question. Kind of complicated. I was wondering if there is any truth to my grandmother's claim that Katharine Hepburn was her 1st cousin. Her name was Arlene Houghton. I have tried to research family tree, but not to much avail. Anyone already done this research who can save the the time and help me any?

I doubt that she was a first cousin - Katharine's mother didn't have any brothers - maybe she was a more distant relation

Hi: First cousin doesn't sound right unless any of Edith or Marion (Kit Hepburn's sisters; Kate's aunts) at some point decided to use their mothers' surnames. Anyway, this may prove totally fruitless, but go to this link and do searches for the Houghton and Hepburn clans.....You might come up with some distant connection. JUST a couple of weeks ago I met for the first time a woman who claimed that her great grandmother and mine were sisters. She has been looking for my branch of the family for 26 years. She brought proof and it's true!!!! Was so cool to find out. Geneology is an amazing maze, but fun. So even if this site doesn't come up with any answers, it's fun to look at the Dr. Hep/Kit ancestry and progeny.
