Okay, so Spitfire is about to begin on Aussie television. Unfortunately I realised that my DVD recorder won't tape it because it's a digital channel and to record you have to change it to analogue for some stupid reason. So don't mind me, I might just make some comments on here as I am watching because there's no way I'll remember everything later and it's not like I'll be able to rewind it or anything It's starting! I'm excited! I feel like I'm sitting in a movie theatre in the 1930s lol I kinda like the music! Okay, I'm watching now! Jess

"You son of a - " that kinda surprised me coming from a 1930s film! I know she didn't finish the sentence, but the implification even must have been complete scandal!
One thing for sure is that Kate is stunning in this film. Absolutely gorgeous. I have no idea what the hell is going on yet. Is that normal? lol is she meant to be the witch? omg I think she just killed a guy! lol Gotta get back to find out!

It just started to get good! Finally, the love triangle. Okay, once you get over the rediculous southern accent, it's kinda a cute movie.
Omg they think she's the witch, I knew it! OMS They're gonna stone her house!
Let me guess, she ends up with the guy that is contracted to build the dam. I don't even know his name. Hers is Trigger, I think that's the only name I've picked up lol

OMG THE CAT! Why are kissing scenes enhanced when there is a feline friend squished in between the guy and the gal? That was soooo cute! Geee, I wonder where Breakfast at Tiffany's got it from haha.. that's kinda funny.
It would have been great to see a scene at the end that was a bit more conclusive, but all 1930s films had stupid endings.
Glad I saw it! Extreme cuteness with a touch of annoyance. I liked it.

Haha you guys are funny. Yeah, an 'experience' is the word. When it ended I remember thinking to myself, "what just happened"? haha it's one of those silly 1930s movies, but Kate was great with what she was given.

Okay Hepburn officianados... now that I know this thing is on YouTubia can someone help me out with finding a specific scene so I don't have to go through the entire movie lol
I'm making a new Kate YouTube video (don't worry folks I did a test and I won't have a problem with the awesome song I've chosen)..
So the song is "Dream" by Priscilla Ahn which is from the movie soundtrack Bride Wars. It's when the two brides are walking in to their weddings (hope that didn't give away anything to those of you who haven't seen it. It's a cute movie).
Anyway, one of the lyrics is "I had a dream that I could fly from the highest swing I had a dream" and it also has the same lyric later in the song but replaces the word "swing" with "tree".
I REALLY to put video footage for this lyric of where Kate is kinda swinging from the tree with her arms.. and I'm sure it's in Spitfire but I can't even roughly remember where in the film it is. Can anyone help me out as to if it's begining, middle, end so I can try and find it on YouTube and just save that clip to my computer and don't have to save the entire film!
Thanks Katelings x

Jess - here is a link to the part where Kate swings in Spitfire (in the beginning) www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Q3xejWUrzAbut couldn't it be that you are thinking of Little Women ( I think that part is also shown on All About Me) where she also swings in a tree?

That was the part I wanted, thank you thank you dreamer!!
She swings in a tree in Little Women too!? Any tree swinging incodents would be good as the lyric is repeated in the song, so I can definately use more than one Kate swinging scene!
