Nice poll. I went for Jo, though I was in two minds between her and Linda Seton.

What about Rosie Sayer? Who was it that said they thought that was the character most like the real Kate?

I went for Jo too - the role seemed to mirror much of Kate's own New England upbringing and I think she always felt she was born to play Jo as well.

I voted for Jo March -- Kate always said that she "knew" the character of Jo March well because of growing up in a large family in NE and the fact that Jo was a spirited young woman like Kate herself.
Plus, after her death, during an interview on CNN, her brother Robert said that he, too, felt that Jo March was closest to Kate's own character.
Kate was a many faceted personality and a bit of her was reflected in all of her roles but Jo March was near and dear to her heart.
