Hmm. It has "EuroDVD" on the cover. I'm afraid that if I buy it it might not work. Looks fishy to me.

I emailed one of the sellers of a different AQ DVD and she says it's "all region." Is that possible? She says it plays on all DVD players. I wonder if the quality is like a bootleg.

I'd be really suspicious of this. Trust me -- when The African Queen comes out on DVD from an American distributor we will hear all about it. For now, you are better off to either make a video tape or a DVD of it when TCM shows it and wait for a restored version of it hopefully with extras to come out here in the US.
Just my opinion but trying to save you some money and disappointment.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. . . I didn't know if maybe it was out already and I just hadn't heard about it... missed a post or something. Guess I'll go with the VHS ;D
