I purchased a book a few years ago that if i remember right was the size that was used on a coffee table. The book had a black and white jacket and the inside was black and white also. The book showed lots of picture's of Fenwick along with Kate and friends, What sticks out in my mind is the white clothes and sheets Katharine had spread out on the grass to dry. That made me laugh as i love the idea. I am unable to find the book and mine disappeared. The author also spoke and showed pictures of her New York apartment. If anyone can recall this book would you be so kind to post the title. I have searched Amazon, used bookstores and new stores also the library. No luck. Thanks,
Nancy

I'm thinking of the John Bryson book (The private world of Katharine Hepburn) because this has a lot of pictures from Fenwick and it's about the size you describe. But it doesn't have a black and white jacket... Maybe somebody else has a better idea?

I am almost postive the jacket was black and white and i know the photo's were in black and white. How the heck can a book be so hard to find? My local library ordered the bryson book for me. I do not think this is the one but it won't hurt to take a peek. Life i did see on Amazon and if the bryson book is not it then i might order Life. I was disappointed in Fenwick's new look. I do not think Katharine would of liked it either. To modern. Thanks Gals for the response.

If you ever find the book you are looking for, would you let us know? sure wish I could help you. I have a picture book called 'Katharine Hepburn- A Life in Pictures but is has both b&w and color. And a great cover photo! It's worth buying. I always go to Amazon.....used ones in good condition is the way to go if you want to save money.

june, how can a book disappear off the face of the earth? The Bryson book was fun to look at and some of the same pctures are in there that were in the missing book. If i find it you will be the first to know.
