Has anybody made any New Years resolutions? I've made two--first, I plan to watch more classic movies outside of Katharine Hepburn (Sunset Blvd. comes on tomorrow, I can't wait), and second I want to see my 40th Katie movie by the year's end. It took me two and a half years to see 30 movies so I think 10 more by the end of the year is obtainable. I've toyed with the idea of starting a journal but I don't know how that will end up.
Happy New Year!

Yay! I've regained access to my own Emmie! [my cousins had completely botched it up when they were staying at my house for the holidays] Grr, dopey cousins... As for my New Year's Revs., I have a few: *To clean my room more than once during the span of the year. You can't see the floor or walls; they're all covered with old movie stars (I've got almost 350 photos of Kath on my walls. Crazy! But an awesome crazy), books, clothes (well, maybe not on the walls), cds, shoes, papers, etc. etc. etc. *Communicate with my mother more. *Stop procrastinating with school work and the like... Oh! And to see ALL of Katherz's films by the end of the year! We can do it Shaun! Woo! And I've had a blog since as long as I can remember, but now it's mostly being used as a KH/Old Hollywood rant page. Maybe if I get over the embarrassment of it, I'll post a link to it later. Hehe. But if you need help with the tricky html codes or whatever, I'm your girl. Happy New Year to you and yours!

The blog and the pictures - you have to admire Katharine as a person who had a fantastic body image .

Hehe *grins*. Well if there needed any confirmation in the fact that I'm off my rocker, that was it.
And yes, Kate had a gorgeous body. Good habits and healthy exercise.. and Hepburn genes..

Its interesting to see these images of Katharine as compared to the way the public might have perceived her . I guess their image of her in the 1950's was that of a spinster with a bun .

Lol, I know what you mean. Desk Set comes to mind. With the pencil sticking out. That's why I made such a huge deal out of them.. Never thought Kath could look like that... or no -not could- would look like that. Anything for the sake of the theatre!

See I told you you'd get another chance for Greece ;D Even if it is with a bunch of people you don't know on the love boat. I highly recommend the disco suit for the occasion.

lol Okay, yes I am up at 2 am *doing laundry!* and so I took that little "quiz" thing on Amber's blog -- I entered Catherine first and got Greta Garbo as an alternate ego and Donna Reed I think as my mother but then I put in Cathy and.... Your (female) celebrity alter-ego is: Marilyn Monroe (haha!! I did totally bleach out my hair for something new... and have a fascination with bright red lipstick) If you were cast in a movie, you would be cast as: Paula Ridgeway in "Random Harvest" (um, I prefer Frances Stevens in To Catch a Thief -- the French countryside... Cary Grant... that wardrobe... those little white gloves... Cary Grant...) The classic movie that describes your life best is Oklahoma! (?) Your celebrity father would be: Fred Astaire (THAT's where I get my dance obsession from!) Your celebrity mother would be: Katharine Hepburn (ahh... yeah, what can I say?) If it were the 1930s, you would be: An RKO employee (definitely! the intern who brings everyone coffee and steals props from the prop room) If you were cast in a Broadway musical, you would Velma Kelly in "Chicago" (hot damn)
