Hey everyone, Silver Screen Talk premiered last night at 11pm ET! Alyssa is on the show as well, and we did pretty well for our first radio show. Had a few screw-ups but with time we will get better! Please listen to last night's show and tell us what you think! It was a 45 min show. Here is the link: www.blogtalkradio.com/silverscreentalk/2009/08/05/Silver-Screen-Talk-Online-Radio-PremiereWe discussed The Philadelphia Story and Some Like It Hot! I apologize for the sound being a bit low-we can fix that for next week's show. But in the meantime it might be best to listen to this with headphones. If you want to listen to next week's show we will be on again at 11pm ET Tuesday night, and every Tuesday night in the future. To listen, please go to this link: www.blogtalkradio.com/silverscreentalkWe hope you will join us! Also, please visit our blog for updates and other such things involving our show: silverscreentalk.blogspot.com/

Dayna, do you happen to run on Facebook the following pages:
Kate the Great Holiday Bringing Up Baby
I'm sure there are a few more...? Do you run all of those pages or was it just coincidence they all came up on my feed advertising Silver Screen Talk haha?

I have too much fun with facebook pages haha! I really like the way you run the pages, with the quotes that people can comment on, etc. And I like your radio show, too! I listened to the first one and thought you did a great job for only your first show, even with tech difficulties and such. I am eager to listen to the second one as soon as I get the chance.

Haha I can tell you're a Facebook junkie Dayna! I was like whoa okay I get it SST is on, callllm down lol you're gorgeous. I wish I could hear it I don't know what a podcast is but apparently some radio shows have them which I presume is where you can listen to the broadcast afterwards. Do you have that? Jess

Thanks Alicia! I am glad you enjoyed it! ;D Our second one was much better actually, except for the long pause in the beginning (I forgot to take myself off of mute haha). Next week's theme-we are pondering doing Love in the Big Apple-with such films as Breakfast at Tiffany's and Barefoot in the Park. Oh, and Jess, you can listen! It's an online radio show, so anyone from around the world can listen! Here is the link: www.blogtalkradio.com/silverscreentalkAll our shows are archived! On the right you will see both shows. And thanks Alicia for the compliments about the facebook pages! ;D

It was static-y for me too, Day. Ah's fixed it, though. ;-)
[In not so other news, LOOKIT YOU BEING A RADIO PERSONALITY!!! Great show so far, kids!]
Oh, Jess, all you have to do is download the mp3 of the radio show. Then do some googling and download a free version of an avi file/mp3 player---think VLC Media Player.
There ya go.
