Thanks for that pic of Bette and Ginger! I love them both. Ginger wore gobs of makeup and always had her hair done when she got older lol. Here's a pic of Judy and Ginger:

Thanks Shaun! I love Bette. lol at the pic with Bette and Joanie, I guess Warner had to stand between them so they didn't try to kill each other. joan's eyebrows were beyond ridiculous.

I have Joan's eyebrows now...it's almost like she died and gave them to my mother "Here. When you have a child USE THESE. They shouldn't go to waste"
So shush.

Today the second week with rain here started - therefore finally decided to look through some of my moving boxes - they have been in the cellar for 3 years :sigh: - with old records as I wanted to give them away. Look what I re-found I wasn't sure if it was Fred Astaire but as I scanned the record it was to read that it should be a film called Carioca. Found out that this is the name of the dance - the film is Flying down to Rio from 1933 - the second of Astaire's films and his first paring with Ginger Rogers. Awesome don't you think?

Awesome don't you think? not his first pairing with rogers .. that was ROBERTA and they were not the leads .. FLYING DOWN TO RIO was their first *starring* film together. i loves me some of this ... they are friggin adorable in it ...

That was so intense. For no reason whatsoever. Almost as inappropriate, or rather, out-of-the-blue as Mulder's observation that the dude on the slab had un-tied shoes. "HAVE YOU NOTICED THAT THIS MAN'S SHOES ARE UN-TIED?" "Bad Blood" is the best episode. Well, next to "Triangle". I'm not even going to pretend that I didn't use this as an excuse to ramble about X-F on Kate's forum. Enough, self! But I figured you would enjoy that shout-out. And also, don't take that kid too seriously.

Don't worry I make up excuses just to bring up the x-files too! I can relate it to anything honey. I'm so obsessed lol. I could quote Bad Blood all day. It's my favorite episode!
