I bought "A Special Kind of Magic" a few weeks ago used on Amazon- is it any good?
The thing is, I accidentally ordered two copies- one to my college dorm and one to my home address. I think I've managed to cancel the former, but Amazon isn't cooperating so if it does come through I'll eBay it.
But it does look interesting.

It's the book that sprang out of the interviews Roy Newquist conducted for his McCall's magazine article on Guess Who's Coming to Dinner. It features separate interviews with all the principals, and though 42 years later a lot of what's in these interviews has been repeated elsewhere, at the time it came out, it was a pretty special book for fans since Tracy had rarely been heard from and, believe it or not, at that point in time, neither had Kate. Enjoy.

Too bad about the Lucy Desi set. I had a feeling it'd be that. I think those extras are exactly the same as my single copies of The Long Long Trailer and Forever, Darling. Tempting though as I don't have Too Many Girls (nor have I ever seen it actually!) but one day it'll become available individually - hopefully!
Ahh the McCalls article. That book looks great, happy reading!
