K so me and my grandma were just sitting at the table talking about Kate for like an hour and I told her the story about her and Michael Jackson. I had her dying. When he said that his favorite Kate movie was Captains Courageous, my mouth dropped. I mean cmon Michael-oh and then the butter in the beet soup..HAHA . too mcuh . And I cant help but laugh everytime I picture her at one of his concerts-or SEE the pictures lol. And if im right-didnt Berg say that there were pictures of her and MJ taken?-at his concert or something? And if so does anyone have one? Id love to see it

A photo of Kate and Michael together is something I have not seen. Didn't Kate object to the idea of having her picture taken with him? This was before one of his concerts, I think, when he stopped by Kate's New York townhouse and asked for a photo. She said no.

Yah, Richard.
Didn't Michael have a wall of pictures of himself with "stars", and Kate thought that it was vulgar. Sort of a "oh look at all the fine people I've met".
Rightly so. Michael is a vulgar little chap.
Which is a shame. Because he's a genius. But he's a genius that touches your sons bum.
That's beside the point though. Ahhh...yeah. I seem to recall something about a wall though.
Bergs book. It was in Bergs book.
Isn't it interesting that MJ's favorite "Katharine Hepburn Film" was Captain's Courageous, stating...
"he was very strict. But he was sweet to the little boy".
(...my favorite... Kate, with a look of madness I hadn't seen since the final act of Long Day's Journey, simply held up her empty glass. )
Anyways. It as around that part of the book.
Oh yes here.
They went off and spoke during dinner. Occasionally Kate was heard to say "Absolutely not! I'm terribly sorry, Michael, but absolutely not!". He wanted a picture of the two of them. She said she would send him one, autographed, of her. He insisted it be of them together. And then...get this! the nerve!... says that he has a photographer waiting out site the house...in a television repair truck! What a creep!
Then he asks if she knows Garbo, and can introduce. She says she does, but hasn't seen her in years.
She said "I can't recall a more peculiar night in my life, and I'm going to bed".

From the documentary Michael Jackson: The Legend Continues: And I edited the parts of this documentary from 1988. I combined moments when Kate speaks about Michael. And one moment with Liz Taylor - she says something what Kate says in Berg's book. You can download it from here: www.sendspace.com/file/lwax4jI don't want YouTube to ban me.

Kama you are made of awsome. Was the clip of Kate taken from another interview or was it made especially for this Jackson documentary?

Not sure, but I think it was made especially for this documentary. But it's my impression. When I'm watching it, I can't stop thinking about Berg's story about MJ

Kama you are my godess for the day I have that VHS - The Legend Continues. Found it in a Red Cross store (and yes they do sell VHS tapes, books as well as records here - not only clothes) It is fashion here to buy from Second Hand stores. To me it is fun and sometimes I sort of fall over something real good - not fancy but good. Treasures ;D If I do remember corretly there is one more sequence with Kate - but I could be wrong. Would have to dig the VHS out to be sure.

I hoped I saw every parts with Kate. But I'm not sure. I didn't watch all the documentary, I just wanted to find Kate there. I'm so busy recently. But I'll watch it in a few days and I'll add the part you're talking about, if I find it.

Thank you for that video Kama. Michael is awful lucky to have all those kind words said about him; from Hermes Pan to Elizabeth Taylor to Kate . . . and pictures with Bob Hope and Sophia Loren. Quite popular during his day. I'm jealous.
