Hi guys...
I have been checking out Google books where you can read many books online...not the whole book but pretty much a lot...anyway...I was checking for Kate books and I found some pretty neat books I hadn't heard of...one of them was "Turtle Bay" it's the story of Kate's neighborhood with interviews of people who lived/live there...one of the interviews was from Stephen Sondheim...anyway here is part of his story/quote:
"Sondheim's new house was directly to the east of Katharine Hepburn's longtime home. Did he know he was buying next door to Hepburn? Well if he didn't, he soon found out. "One night before the sale closed, I took some friends over to look at the house," says Sondheim. "We walked out into the central garden, turned around and looked up, and there facing us through the window was Katharine Hepburn...and at that moment a pair of big broad arms reached around to embrace her...unmistakably Spencer Tracy" he recalls
WOWWWWWW!!!!!! Can u just imagine...this was sometime in 1960.
