How about that is exactly what I was going to write. Get out of mah head, TWIT!
It's safe to say that I would be Allen.
Can't you see me coining this chestnut?
"What did you learn in school?" "Well in math we learned Pi r(squared)." "Aw, that's a shame!" she hoists up a cookie, "PIES ARE ROUND."
And thank you for the affection, dear Alyssa! We heart you, too!

I sort of feel like the only way this would be acceptable is if he did it on a major dare. Or like, lost some sort of bet. Folks, this lovely soundbite is now the ringtone whene'er Amber calls my cell phone. EPIC. Also, he looks rather more like he is attempting to water-ski than surf. Someone forgot to tell him that there are no handlebars when you surf. Bushy bushy blonde hairdo---he can't wait for June! He did, I think, record more than one pop tune....I can't believe you found this. I mean the coincidence of it. I found it a week or so ago and have been so busy I haven't had time to post the link. I think it's hysterical. First off, YAY JUDY!!!!!! Second, I think you're thinking of his other hits "Lovin' Little Surfer" and the B-Side to Surfer D, "I Still Could Care." Why?!! Third, I'm pretty sure we're part of a unique group of people who have typed 'lyrebird' into the youtube search engine to procure this brilliance.

THERE ARE CHILLUN' ON THIS BOARD, FRIEND.
::wails::
I'm not sleeping tonight because of that. CREEPY. And I do believe the only reason you posted it was to get a rise out of us and we regret to inform you that we are both in distress.

Hahahaha....I'm thinking of calling my local oldies station during their 6:00 request hour (in 13 minutes) and seeing if they have Surfer Doll.....they have some really obscure stuff.....heh.
Also, random, Judy, but I never, EVER get tired of looking at your banner. What a fab selection of pictures. *sigh*

Also, random, Judy, but I never, EVER get tired of looking at your banner. What a fab selection of pictures. *sigh* Also, random, I was watching HIGH ANXIETY last night - like, for the billionth time - and laughed out loud at a scene that I never really struck me before as hysterical as the rest of the movie did. It's the one where Dick Van Patten must be destroyed by evil Harvey Korman and Cloris Leachman - so he is driving in his car and turns the radio on and this ear shattering, nerve destroying song comes on really loud and he cannot turn it off. He turns the knob of the radio - ah, yes, those were in the days when things like radios had knobs - and it comes off in his hand. He pulls over and tries the door handles but they, too come off in his hands. He tries kicking out the windows and can't. Meanwhile the music is blaring this inane music - what passed for hip, pop - and finally he screams and the shot cuts to him, dead in the car with a trickle of blood streaming out of his ear. I'm gonna find me a surfer doll...... ;D PS Oh, and as to the banner - I once again have my pal dreamer to thank. She knew these were favorite images - that I'd sent her - and she created the banner for poor, PC-challenged, Mac-reared me. They are stunning, are they not?

Oh GOOD GRAVY. I have had Surfer Doll stuck in my head for the past 72 hours. It has been a struggle. "Promised that you'd come by SUR-FIN'." MAKE IT STOP! The way to end the war in Iraq would be to hook up a wifi all over the country and blare this song. White Flag brought to you by Bobby "I Squish Koala Bums While They Stand-By With Expressions Of Great Violation/Constipation" Helpmann.
(And I still think it's "true blue"! We've decreed that it is.)
I've seen High Anxiety in film class! Can you imagine the horror of being stuck in a car with SD on a constant rotation and with no clear knowledge as to how to turn it off? The horror....The horror.
I REALLY HOPE YOU CALLED THE STATION, CHUM. EPIC.
And yeah Judy, we've had convos about the lovely in your banner. So. Pretty. Dreamer is mighty fine!

True blue, huh? Could be...Probably is.
"scuse me, while I kiss this guy...." [Please tell me that some of you are old enough to remember this reference. Well, no, none of you are. But please tell me you know what I'm talkin' 'bout. Else I shall have to put myself in the old folks home...]

What *doesn't* have its own website/IP address/E-mail these days? I just sneezed. Do I make it a website? AmbersSneezeFrom3SecondsAgo.com? People are silly. Tears were coming out of my ears. That's right, my ears were crying.
