I've celebrated the occasion a couple days early by watching Adam's Rib, Summertime, Alice Adams, and Desk Set. Getting reading to watch Holiday, Little Women, Lion in Winter, Long Day's Journey into Night, and hopefully many, many more.

In honor of Ms Hepburn's 101st birthday I saw a most heartfelt Happy Birthday though you are sadly gone physically the class, elegance and brains of your movies live on. In honor of the day, I am intending to watch my favorite Kate comedy of all The Philadelphia Story which is just about the most perfect comedy of the 40's (in my opinon and based on what I have seen up to this point ) shame they are all gone but the joy in watching lasts forever Thanks Kate for the great legacy you left
