Oh, wow! Reading your list made me realize I left out lots of favs... The Shining, the best horror film I've seen! Whatever Happened to Baby Jane is another fav of mine! Thelma & Louise and The Rocky Horror... are the Susan Sarandon's films I love the most. And Breakfest is great too... ooh well, you get the point.

OMG! I forgot to add 12 Angry Men!!! I love it SO much. And Tea & Sympathy is also very great. And as some of you might have noticed I worship Alfred Hitchcock! He was a genius! Billy Wilder, David Lynch, Woody Allen, Mike Nichols and a few others as well. ;D

To me it is the storyline and how it is being told which counts. But it is kind of funny - wasn't even aware of how many times a director would appear on my list - not until I started writting down the names. Seems to me that Cukor tops my list ;D along with Lean, Lumet, Dayan and Bergman.
