If I had to count on the fingers of one hand the most sensational theatrical evenings I've ever been privileged to experience - well, first, I'd need more than five fingers cause three of them would go to the three times I saw Lena Horne: The Lady and Her Music. wow. some day, judy, we'll meet and compare notes. theatre. passions. these amazing performers we've seen in person. i have seen lena horne only once on stage, in this same show, when she took it on tour. i lived in st. louis at the time .. she appeared at the refurbished FOX theatre. beautiful place. it was 1982 or 1983. one of those 'force of nature' events. agreed!

Brenda Lee is not available in your country Would love to listen to I'm Sorry or All Alone am I - am nuts about the version with Timi Yuro - have been since I meet a double in Spain performing all her songs in a little bar

what impeccable taste we all have in music!
this is currently my song of choice. surprisingly, it is not nelson eddy or jeanette macdonald.
"this is not a test" by she and him.
i loves me a band with an ear for a nostalgia sound. plus, zooey deschanel is PRECIOUS. and hell, i'm all about a song with a kazoo solo. i mean, is there a more appropriate instrument to define my musical preferences? if i were in a band i would totally play the kazoo. or the triangle.

Lately I've been obsessed with Rainbow High performed by Patti LuPone
