Yah that pic you posted Richard is of the love of my life Keta Garbo.
AND OHMAHGAH I missed your Stany picspam Shaun ahhhhhh!! I love how the only thing that ever aged on that woman was her hair. Which looks like it is flying off of her head in the 3rd pic and that is why I love her. Don't ya love how literally every woman in H-wood chopped off her hair in 1949? Like they had to do it or they would die haha. ANd poor Missy was crying and Bob had to hold her hand through it. Meanwhile Katty just chops it off and prances around with a tennis racket. GIRLS!!!
YAY THEY ALL BALANCE EACH OTHER OUT!

Actually it was dreamer who posted the Garbo photo. But yeah, something in my subconscious told me it was most likely her.
Glad you feel that way, Shaun, about Crawford. Quite a number of people feel that same way too.

This is not actually Hollywood. Johannes Heesters called Jopi is the European answer to Fred Astair ;D - believe the oldest living and still working actor/singer/entertainer. Jopi was born 1903 in Netherlands - just watched an old VHS with him Count Danilo - The Merry Widow - he played the part from 1938 until 1970 on stage - 1600 times on stage.

Nawwwwwww Look! Columbia made an attempt to make Rita seem like a more...typical, domestic, all American girl... It's cute...but ...really!? ------------------------- And for Richard... you probably have this one, but it's the only picture of Marilyn I have - which I find EXTREMELY weird. Of all pictures to have...this...? Gah! I loved Marilyn in Niagara. I say that's her best picture (well, the best of the ones I've seen, but I'm not a HUGE fan of her like I am with other people).
