I love the Philly Story dress but you'd probably never realistically wear it. But I'm a sucker for those frills! I always liked this sporty number in Pat and Mike; Then there's the plaid number she wears in the baseball scene (sorry couldn't find a full length one, but you know which one I mean) But I think my favourite one is (again sorry for not prociding a full length) the gorgeous black number in Holliday But then again, I LOVE this polkadot one she wears in Without Love.. you know the one. I don't think it's actually a 'dress' though, i think it's a pant suit. Still very cool! AND I just found this random picture like 2 seconds ago. I know the fur is a bit much but the base of the dress is stunning... check it out! Jess

I loveeeeeeeeeee that dress! I have a terrific photo of her sitting on the set with George Stevens - at a table on the banquet set - and the little sleeves have been removed, probably so they wouldn't get torn or spoiled and was probably not easy to move her arms when they were attached - the sleeves I mean, not her arms :-) - so between takes they removed them....Dreamer, do you know that photo? If you do and can post, I'm sure folks would like to see it.

dreamer .. could you help out the dramaturg / word person here and correct the spelling in the title of this thread? i love the content of this thread and i'm viewing images i haven't seen before .. sigh .. lovely .. but the wording of the title draws me up short every time. WHICH is the word we're looking for (i.e. one of several) rather than the word for the female spell caster "witch" that currently appears. now i'll go look at pretty pictures ..
