Favorite Kate Films: Morning Glory, The Philadelphia Story, Guess Who's Coming To Dinner (Granted I've not seen very many at this point...)
Favorite Non-Kate Films: Gone With The Wind, several Disney flicks, Grand Hotel, Hairspray (musical), The Wizard Of Oz, etc.

How I became a fan: I was at Goodwill one day a couple of years ago and found a tape of The Philadelphia Story (the WB special edition VHS) and picked it up. I enjoyed the movie, but what I really enjoyed was the "All About Me" documentary at the end about Kate's life and career. Since then I've wanted to know more about her, see more of her work. I do have a nice collection, thanks to my DVD recorder and the fact that Turner Classic Movies has no problem showing her movies constantly.
Comments: Seriously, I think she's tied with Bette Davis as my favorite actress at this point. I not only love their work, but I love their personalities as well. I've always had a soft spot for strong independent women who insist on high standards of quality for themselves, even if they don't get it from anyone else.

Just stumbled upon this interesting board.. Does anyone have any video interviews with KH?? Or maybe transcripts of them? I´ve been especially looking for the full version of the famous Cavett one forever and ever...
