It was a particular favorite of my aunt’s and it resided in different places and was sometimes hung on the wall. In LA it was on a table in her house, in NYC it was on a low bookcase in her bedroom or at times on a table in on back parlor and at other times hung on the wall of a little hall connecting the front and back parlors at her Turtle Bay home in NY. But it was visible somewhere because it was a painting of her beloved mother. It probably meant more to her than 85% of the art work sold at the auction.
