Someone said on imdb that it's not a biography, of course, but rather an examination of Hepburn's personality and self-motivational skills (and how to apply them in your life!) Am wondering if all those writers are psychology's Also understood that it was a bit trashy and not very complimentary about ME. Now I'm not sure whether I want to read it.

I have How To Hepburn reserved at my library. Will tell you how I like it. It sounds kind of interesting.

I am in the middle of reading How To Hepburn and really enjoying it. Laugh out loud at some of the lines. It's really good.

Cool!
Step 1. Eat apples on the dirty ground spreadeagle. Preferably, in Venice.
Step 2. Chop off your hair and give yourself a boy's name. (if a woman)
Step 3. Gallavant with a towel on your head even though your hair is dry.
Step 4. BE FABULOUS... while climbing drainpipes barefoot.
Man, I should just write a 'how to' book.

Be adorbable. Say what you want. Wear Sunscreen (something she should of done) MAKE IT COUNT according to Miss Karbo "SOME TIPS FOR GETTING YOUR HEPBURN ON" have a credo find yourself fascinating say what you think dont confuse self-improvement with self-remodeling find danger exhilarating wear sunscreen find the type of clothes that you feel best in and never take them off make it count i bought the book from Barnes and Noble about a week ago-just started it; its good-kind of a biography; for most of us though its everythnig weve heard already. she does call out William Mann though so kudos to Karbo lol. and maybe someone can help me in the book Karbo refers to a look magazine interview with Spence where he calls Katharine "My Kate" does anyone know if its on the board already-or maybe someone has it or a link to it? id love to see it.

find the type of clothes that you feel best in and never take them off that's the best bit of advice i picked up from a quick "standing in the aisle in the bookstore" read of this little tome this past summer. but wait .. i got that bit of advice from just watching hepburn in action. wait .... perhaps i'll just watch PAT & MIKE ... or DESK SET .. or ADAM'S RIB .. only problem ... not enough slacks on screen.
