Yeah he was a redhead, right? Of course he had white hair when he was older. I went to a funeral a while back and sat behind a guy that looked just like Spencer Tracy. I just stared at the back of his head and pretended it was him so I wouldn't have to focus on the display of death.

Sometimes I really just wished they would have straightened things out with Louise and gotten married. I don't know about that, though. Do you think that it would have worked? I imagine that one of the many reasons they stuck together was because they were, to steal a line from Coco, "regal, but less than legal"

Katharine commented to David Lean in the 1960's that she didn't think their relationship would have survived if they had been married . She also made the point that they were together because they wanted to be - she said that if people practiced what she termed free love then that wouldn't neccessarily lead to more affairs .

Although it may have been nice if Kate and Spencer would have gotten married, I just don't think it would have worked. I know that Kate had and I'm sure in Heaven she still has a deep love for him and all, but at least them not have been married made them feel more free or something if their relationship would not have worked out. So they would not have had to go through a divorce if it didn't work. Maybe Kate also learned from her one and only marriage not working out. Kate and Spencer both were very smart people, so I'm sure they knew what they were doing.
