Hi,
am I the noly one, who think of Song of Love as one of Kate's good performances ?
Loved to see her with the children. There is some kind of something special between Kate, Paul Henrie and Robert Walker.
This is one of the films where Kate has small children. The other is Sea of Grass allthough we don't see her much with the small ones. What I also think is comon for both films are - is the sadness about loosing a loved one.

You're not alone....She has some wonderful scenes, particularly the one where she realizes that her husband's mind is gone. I love the photo you posted of her and Rubinstein and anther woman - a production assistant? - where he is showing her a finger movement and she's looking at her hands...Reminds me of how she looks at her hands in the Cavett bonus when she suddenly remembers that she does not have on a band aid....Only 34 years apart :-) Judy

Hi, am I the noly one, who think of Song of Love as one of Kate's good performances ? . Definitely not alone!!! HERE !!! I like that one too - actually its one of my favorites and I watch it quite often I love her scenes with the children - very cute ... and I also like Henreid ... and I thought Robert Walker was good too.(kinda still hope they come together in the end:D ) I've read a lot of bad criticism about this picture - could never really agree. I think its just cute ... and Kate is great!!!! Is it only me or does she have 8 children in that one scene when Robert Walker is introduced. He holds the baby in his arm - and the other 6 come running in the room trying to catch the chicken. Would be 7 - but isn't Kate at the same time washing one of the children in the bathing tub in the kitchen Would seem more like 8 to me. Hmm.. maybe she simply grabbed one of the 6 running after the chicken

When Kate does roles of vulnerable women, it ´s very strange but very interesting too. Her hairdresses in this movie is horrible in my opinion. I love the part where Kate does "lovely mother". When we wacth this parts, in XXI sigle with Kate´s stereotipic, it ´s very dificult for belive. However, she looks wonderfull with her seven childrem in this movies jjajjajajajaj Even, it´s very funny SeeU
