It´s true. In her first film there is a strange deal "anti-labio" (stop-upperlip)!
I think that the kate´s face was smoofhing with pass years.
In 30´S photos, the kate´s face was very angulate and them less...

First of all, thank you for sharing the radio version, Martha. Very interested in hearing Judy's take.

Although the film is available in Warner Bros.' 100th Anniversary DVD box, I didn't feel like buying the whole set just now, so I decided to just pick up a VHS from Amazon for a very cheap price, as I have a DVD recorder and I know that Turner VHS releases can be recorded to DVD in it. Very happy I did too - the film itself is so-so, but Kate's performance makes it. The scene where she drunkenly recites Shakespeare alone could have won her that award. Great film to have in my collection.
