I did watch it to! And its left me with a question some of you may be able to answer.
Does anyone know what the music is, that plays while Doris Attinger shoots her husband? Its a wee dixieland-ish, jazz, number. Anyone know what its called or is it just part of the score?

Okay, so I used to think it was "Somebody Stole My Gal". But it's not exactly on the same pace, so I tossed that idea out. Ya know, it could be just some filler music from MGM. Because I don't know what else it could be. It probably might have helped if I was around then, but alas, I was not. *sigh*

Thanks anyway. I love it though. I don't know why. Just...it's great. It's the kind of music I would kill my husband to, I know that much. I ought to know, because I love music from that era...but I just dont know. I think you may be right about the filler music thing. That would make a lot of sense.

Yeah. I watched this AGAIN the other day.
Amber, you're right, it is the best movie ever! (or, if not the best, one of the best)

Have you seen any other Tracy and Hepburn movies? I have to say that Adam's Rib is probably the best out of all their collaborations. Woman of the Year and Desk Set are very good as well.

Oooh, then I suggest you see Woman of the Year as fast as you can. RUN TO YOUR NEAREST VIDEO RENTAL STORE. Or drive your car. Whichever.
But it's essential viewing. They all are, actually.

Please do Annie And Summertime, Little Women, Morning Glory, The Lion in Winter and I would think On Golden Pond as well would be of your interest. Not to mention Undercurrent with Robert Taylor, Keeper of the Flame, Without Love and State of the Union with ST. You still have a long wonderful journey ahead of you discovering Kate's legacy. Did you get the chance to see Pat and Mike the other day on TCM?
