Honestly, Kate has an anglo-saxon accent, but not very marked. It's hard to have an idea because she spoke french in very short sentences. But if i remember her mother spoke french, and Kate came in france (travel with laura and for movies) : perhaps she spoke a little the language of molière

Desk Set - Mike played by Gig Young (I think ) And the last even if not a Kate film but I consider it as one Love Affair - Mike played by Warren Beatty Next -> in which films does Kate have the name of a friend?

... bathe a child -> Song of Love and maybeee in The Sea of Grass not sure Right about Song of Love.....In Sea of Grass there's the one scene where she's washing her daughter's face with a cloth, in which Kate laughs and ad-libs - at least it sounds like an ad-lib - the words "Is it cold?" off the little girl's reaction. So that's acceptable The other one I had in mind is Dragon Seed. Spoiler alert - I'm about to reveal my other ones - or at least the ones I remembered off the cuff, so if you want to guess em - don't read on. Recite a poem:Without Love – April is the cruelest month... Desk Set – Curfew shall not ring tonight... Get drunk:Morning Glory Sylvia Scarlett The Philadelphia Story Woman of the Year State of the Union Desk Set Hold/pick/arrange flowers:Alice Adams Stage Door Keeper of the Flame Desk Set GWCTD I'm sure I've left some out.... *Philadelphia Story (ah, a radio, some champagne, and a dance around a decorative pool) * Bringing Up Baby (really, before she loses the back of her evening dress .. isn't there at least a moment of dance/swaying? ..) * Morning Glory (at the producer's cocktail party ... again some dance/swaying?)
hmm... this simple question makes me want to pop some DVDs in this morning ...
