Oh yes, "Roman Holiday" and "Now Voyager": Travel and overcoming. Just I notice that the kate´s name in Summertime is Jane Hudson, the same name that Bette Davis in "What ever happen with baby Jane?"

Ahah, yeah, it's kinda strange, isn't it? Lol I love Whatever happened to Baby Jane, though my favourite Bette Davis movie is All about Eve.

Finally took the time to watch it today. I really enjoyed it, even though I'm usually not a big fan of romantic movies. I noticed that I had a big grin on my face during the whole film. Kate looked so great in it, some fantastic dresses, and I found the whole romance really believable. And Venice must be so beautiful!

This was about the fifth Kate movie I had seen. I watched it over a succession of about 9 days, as I would watch it when I had time to just squeeze a little bit in here or there.
I adored it, to say the least. At the beginning I was confused and not sure how I felt about it. I had to watch the hotel scene (after she falls into the canal) about 4 times before I understood what had just happened. However, by the end of the movie I was absolutely enthralled. It is a beautifully photographed film, with a very simple, yet complex story line (ha, I'm pretty sure that's not even possible).
Kate does such a good job at portraying this vulnerable woman, who so desperately wants to find love. My FAVORITE FAVORITE scene is when they're on the island and she's leaned over him. It's so romantic and wonderful.
I love this movie. So much. Haha
