I know we talked about the score of this movie in a different thread but who has all seen it? I just finished it and thought it was adorable! Carl looks so much like S.T. The music was amazing and the animation was so real it was almost scary. There were some laugh out loud moments through out. I almost wish this won Best Picture this year.
What did everyone else think?

It's excellent. One of my top 5 animated movies ever, and certainly deserved its Best Picture nomination (and Animated/Score wins). Also: if you don't feel something during the "Married Life" montage, you're made of stone.
I wonder, if ST were alive (and not the age he would be now haha), would they have sought him for the voice of Carl? I think so...

yes saw it. yes cried real tears and laughed and cheered on the little dog. and the bigger weird birds. and wanted to fill my house with balloons. great little flick.

I saw it yesterday and I cried and laughed throughout; it's a great film!!! Carl looks a lot like ST and we all know it was intentional, but I also think Ellie is somewhat based on Kate - I couldn't find a screencap, but do you remember the scene right after the wedding when Ellie is sawing a wooden board in her wedding dress? I can't see many women doing it but Kate would totally do it ;D

Semi-OT, but as a birthday present this year, a friend gifted me with a homemade Ellie Badge. ;-D
Greatest movie about Tracy and Hepburn that isn't about Tracy and Hepburn, right?!
