pw1.netcom.com/~druxy/Tracy.htmAnyone know anymore info? I know, I know, the whole thing sounds really minor/obscure, not to mention old. Possibly even unproduced. Still, it would be kind of interesting to see the script. What, I wonder, could one use to research it when Spencer hardly ever gave his side of the story, and then only in glimpses? If he were simply one of several characters, then fine, but a whole one-man show? Probably another Tea at Five. And of course its chances of being seen onstage again are low. But intriguing nonetheless.

the author druxman seems to have written and taught quite a bit about hollywood and screenwriting, and has written one person plays on several people: Jolson, Clark Gable, Carole Lombard, Spencer Tracy and Orson Welles. [so i guess the writer specializes in the monologue ] the web site from which i found this info: www.insidescooplive.com/author-pages/Druxman-Michael-reading-interview.html

Hey guys! I just came home to find this email from Michael B. Druxman:
Hello, I just came across your posting on "Kate the Great" re; my Spencer Tracy one-person play. The play had two 4-5 week productions in Los Angeles during the mid-1980s. Character actor Sid Conrad played the role. Then, last year in New Bern, NC, it was produced again with Paul White doing the part. Although I never talked to Ms. Hepburn, my research included interviews with many people who knew and worked with Tracy. If you would like to share this information on the Forum, please feel free to do so, Kindest regards, Michael B. Druxman
Just something to share.

New email from writer: Hi, About 18 months ago, we communicated regarding TRACY, my one-person play about Spencer Tracy. Some of the members of the "Kate the Great" group had expressed an interest in reading it. Well, now they can. Published copies can by obtained by visiting this site: www.createspace.com/3595432In a few days, the play will also be available on Amazon.com and, later, through other booksellers. I would appreciate your passing this information on to your fellow "Hepburners". Many thanks, Michael B. Druxman
